Colmena Suites

We had a great time at this hotel. Elias received us super warmly and took care of all our needs. The room got a little warm at night and since the hotel is located by a big road, opening a window to lessen the heat was not really an option. That being said they did provide us with a small fan which was enough to cover one side of the bed. The rooms and bathroom as well as common areas were very clean and well stocked. Overall, for the price a great experience

We stayed 4 night in this hostel. Nice location, nice kitchen, free coffee and tea, everything was very clean (room and commune parts). Nice view of the city from our window (sunrise and sunset) Excellent service from Veronica, Blanca and Ingrid. The maintenance guy is also very nice. Thanks a lot for everything. If we have a chance, we will come back

It’s a great value - clean, friendly service, washer/dryer available, and coffee in the mornings. Filtered water, hot and cold, available. I had a room with a balcony facing the street, but I’m used to street noise. Mostly the sound of cars and the odd siren or loud bike. There was a fan in the room, so I just turned that on at night and went to sleep easy. Great location close to metro stop. Shoutout to Blanca and Vania, they have been so kind and helpful. I would definitely return, checked all the boxes for me!

Very clean, rooms are tiny. I got a call before my checkout, Telling me I was not in the bedroom and reminding me to remove my belongings from my bedroom when the room was still mine for another 20 minutes. I’m no child. My belongings were removed before 12. No need to be going into peoples room and calling us to remind us of the obvious. Elias was very nice.

The staff were great, y Blanca cleaned my room nicely. Elías was muy amable letting me store my luggage after checkout! The room itself was basic and comfortable, though right next to a busy street but I have earplugs so it’s fine. The area is walkable and close to many great places.

Good place for a longer stay. I was in Mexico for two weeks and the hotel Colmena turned out to be a great choice. The rooms are bright and clean. The bathroom too. It's cleaned every day. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom door, because it has large gaps at the bottom and top. But I could live with it It's also quite loud, because the hotel is on a busy street. But the whole city is generally very loud, so you just have to get used to it the hotel staff is very nice and there is no problem with contact. The location is also good. It's close to the metro, bus stops, you can even easily walk to the Angel of Independence monument. The room prices are also very affordable. Dear Colmena - muchas gracias por todo! For the next visit to Mexico City only your hotel!

I spent one week here and had a wonderful time! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and Ricardo helped me the most since his English is excellent. The communal space is great to meet the other guests, and has a kitchen and large fridge you can use to cook while you stay. Everything was so clean! My only problem was that the mattress was old and thin, so it was uncomfortable to sleep on.

The Hotel was in a great location for exploring the neighborhood. If city sound is not your thing, maybe avoid the city view. The traffic and whistle cops start early. The hotel is more like a hostel vibe with private rooms. Great amenities that are easily accessible. Also have the chance to meet some great people. Staff is super accommodating
